To advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education and research.

Louisiana AAUW Mission:

To promote and support AAUW's mission, programs, and advocacy; offer members opportunities for intelligent discussion, social interaction and philanthropy.

Louisiana AAUW Goals:

• Citizen Diplomacy/Community Partnership.
• Increase Membership and Participation.
• ERA ratification in Louisiana.
• Work to promote awareness of AAUW in Louisiana.
• Be more visible in the community through media exposures.
• Bring AAUW programs into Louisiana Colleges and Universities
• Raise monies to support the AAUW - Women of Louisiana Educational Endowment and AAUW Legal Advocacy.
• Equity Is Still An Issue.
